Final Draft - Cemeteries and Crematoria, Funeral Parlours By-Laws
- The Council, acting under the powers granted to it by national and provincial legislation, hereby adopts these by-laws to control funeral undertaker's premises, to make provision for the allocation of land for the purposes of the burial of human remains, to develop and maintain existing cemeteries, to permit its residents to dispose of a corpse by cremation and to provide space allowing the preservation of the remains of a cremation in a dignified manner.

Cemetery and Crematorium By-Laws
- City of Tshwane Metropolitan Municipality - Every application and every document relating to any interment, whether by burial or cremation, must be: furnished with a number from the register; filed in sequence; and preserved by the Municipality for a period of at least ten years.
