Arbor City Awards 2007
- The Department of Water Affairs and Forestry (DWAF) in conjunction with the Institute of Environment and Recreation Management (IERM) have reintroduced the Arbor City Award Competition during the year 2002, with the main objective of encouraging municipalities to undertake greening initiatives. The competition was kick-started in Gauteng Province, went on to the Eastern Cape, Free State, KwaZulu--Natal, Limpopo Province and now extends to Mpumalanga for 2007.
